Today Team Couriers 4th Birthday

PRLog (Press Release) – May 16, 2009 – Specialist Same Day Courier Company Today Team Ltd based in Warrington are looking forward to celebrating their 4th birthday during May.
Directors Jamie Boyd and Jon Woodall started the business in May 2005 with a small loan from the Princes Trust which enabled them to lease a van and get started- “A friend was working as a courier and thought we could give it a go ourselves, we didn’t have any experience or contacts but we knew we could make it work, it’s a really competitive industry and we thrive on the challenge” said Jamie.
From their humble beginnings they now operate a nationwide service with clients using their services throughout the UK on a daily basis “The great thing about our business is the ability to manage things from one central location, we have great relationships with drivers throughout the country which means we can cover all corners of the UK with a very short lead time” said Jon
When asked on what makes them different from other courier companies Jamie said “We pride ourselves on our high service levels, a lot of the time we are providing a solution to a customers problem- a delivery that hasn’t been sent out or paperwork that needs to be signed before a deadline, time is always an issue and there is no room for error, some people could look at that a being a bit of a high pressure role but it’s something we love doing, its great to get an email after the job’s been completed to thank us for saving a deal” They must be doing something right as the can list high profile clients such as Manchester United Football Club, Royal Bank of Scotland and ITN News.
Jon expressed optimism when asked about plans for the future “We’ve worked very hard to get the business where it is and we know we can continue to grow Today Team, we have lots more ideas for the future and we are in the process of adding executive travel to our services”
